Last night I worked out w/ my personal trainer, and I am soo sore today. I felt really "off" yesterday, like everything was hard to do and sore all over. I know I'm not getting sick, but it was weird to struggle running just 2 miles. It felt like before I had my heart ablation... not very fun. I hardly slept last night, but strangely, I feel better today. Whatever. Sometimes I think I'm just getting old and need to take more vitamins!Over lunch today I got my nails done, just for fun. I love acrylics, but my nails grow so fast I have to get them filled in every week or so. It's crazy. But I still do it. :)
I'll write later about the our trip... the gorgeous weather, the relaxing vacation with family, my cousin Rachel's wedding, and seeing my bff Sarah! Can't wait! xoxox

It was a tradition in my house growing up to decorate for Christmas on Thanksgiving Day (or the day after). I used to think this was crazy and way too early, but now I love doing it. Even though I have my own house to decorate, I still go over to mom's and help her out. It's so much fun. I l-o-v-e decorating for holidays!
Another tradition we had growing up was taken after the Pilgrims and the "First Thanksgiving". Before we ate, Mom would give everyone 5 kernels of corn (we used Corn Nuts) and we'd go around eating one at a time, saying something we were thankful for.
Mom would always start the turkey early in the morning (she does this thing where she puts garlic under the skin... ooOOoOo it's soooo yummy), and we'd set the table and help out with the cooking. Once it was all done, Dad would carve the turkey. Us kids would stand around and try to steal little pieces of turkey and he would always pretend he was going to chop our fingers off. Hahaha. This year I'm going to ask mom if I can make - or atleast do the turkey - for Thanksgiving dinner! I need to practice!
What are some traditions you had growing up at this time of year?
Happy Fall Everyone!

Eric had to work all weekend, so I made use of the time by shopping.
I had to get these shoes. Believe it or not, I have never owned a pair like this (pointy toes), and hardly have any closed-toe shoes anyway. Cooler weather will be here soon, so I'll need something other than sandals (which we Floridians have plenty of).
I got a couple of sweaters:
I couldn't resist these - they were only $3!!
Eric needed some more cologne so he asked me to buy him some today (Polo Blue - yummm). I got myself some Juicy! MmMmMM.
Target has the cutest headbands! It was hard to decide, but I only got one:
This morning I left Eric this cute little card just because I love him :)
I'm ready for the week to begin (for once!) It'll be a short week because I'm off Friday and Monday of next week - we'll be headed to Indiana on Friday morning with my parents! Can't wait to enjoy some cooler weather, AND I get to see Sarah! Yayyyy! (oh, and I get to see grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles too - haha)
P.S. Just this week we got a belated wedding gift from a friend who came to our wedding but forgot to leave the gift. It was a $100 visa gift card! It'll be nice spending money for our upcoming trip! :) Aren't weddings great?

This one is from Schwans.
P.S. Does anyone else experience high levels of frustration when uploading pictures to blogger.com for your post? When I do it all my pictures go straight to the top of the post, not where I have my cursor placed, then I have to drag them down to where I want them, and it really messes everything up!! Any suggestions from the pros out there??
